When in doubt, don’t was by Benjamin franklin. Well it applies a little different for food, when in doubt I guess my motto will be DO! Well we are always stuck at this juncture where we are satisfied with something that suits our taste and budget we stick on to it; well what I urge you to do is try something different. Its time to let go off the paratha's and the naan's with beef curry and gobi chilly and welcome new changes in terms of different cuisines. Bring a little tang with some Italian cuisine, try the lasagna for instance or maybe go Russian with beef stroganoff. A good dinner always doesn’t have to include a bread or rice, try a steak or even better a platter. What we don’t realize is the fact that there are premium restaurants in our cities that give you a variety of options that are different and amazing from the routine flavours. Appam And Ishhhtew...

Ah... it’s yet another time to go hopping for food. This R&D team (major food addicts team, R&D is just a cool way of expressing ourselves) at yummybay is out to taste the ever famous Appam & Stew. Since ages kerala has been home to some of the most exquisite flavours inspired by different people. One such dish is the stew which was tradionally inspired by the catholic reign British empire in the 18th century. A flavour brought out by the Catholics from ‘catholic central’ kottayam, and what a tang it has turned out to be. The chicken stew has shredded chicken in a slightly thick corn flavour base with veggies to top it off, and with the authentic kerala bread appam (fermented rice batter); together they form an irresistible combo. So we traveled first to the heart of kottayam to taste this dish first hand, the appam was slightly sweet and had a mouthwatering aroma, also the stew had a hint of pepper that spiced it up a bit.
