October 2 is a memorable day for every indian, on such a Gandhi Jayanti there was a small and humble beginning for a site that as we speak now has launched in 3 states in south india. With immense support from users and restaurants alike, yummybay has completed one successful year which is yet another feather in our team’s cap like Filmglitz.com (South India’s Most Popular Entertainment Portal) and Aadhocc Software Technologies Pvt Ltd. This year we present to you a completely new look and feel with more functions that will help you to choose and order with ease. And what better way to pull off a year than launching in Namma Bengaluru, there is a sheer connection between me and Bangalore i.e during my initial years as a techie I was welcomed with warm smiles and open hearts which gave me the confidence to venture into the industry myself. Love the crowd and their hearts, and this launch is my ode to the city. With the present plan and structure we will launch in all major cities in India by the end of 2012 and stick to our promise to feed 10 million foodies by 2012. On this occasion I would personally like to thank the technical team for their immense work to make this site a huge success. Moreover I also would also like to appreciate the work done by the marketing team headed by Mr. Prabhul Anil who has even gone to extend of postponing his marriage to make the Bangalore launch a reality. Another important person that I would like to mention at this juncture is Mr. Mithun Antony, the business analyst who has skipped enough number of beers and parties and has actually entered into a relationship with yummybay. And how can I skip Mr. MaheenAboobacker, who has headed business development like Messi in Barcelona scoring one after the other in terms of clients and business. Last but not the least I would like to thank my family especially my wife who has stayed up at night till I got back from office and let me sleep at least on the couch.
